Venice, 1999. On the phone, Christian Jankowski consults five different TV fortune-tellers with enigmatic names such as Antonio Vitale or Barbara Perugljo. In broken Italian, Jankowski poses existential questions relating to his artistic work which is just in the process of evolving. From Studio Parapsicologia to Sibilla, who advertises with disarming self-confidence: 'Sibilla, un nome, una garanzia negli anni', all agree that the caller's work will be a great success.
Christian Jankowski works with installation, video, photography, performance and literature. By combining different mediums or putting them in relation, the borders between fiction and reality are often merged.
