Anke Hoffmann,
born in Berlin 1970, works as free-lance curator in Berlin. She studied Cultural Studies, Sociology and Political Science in Berlin and London. Apart from realising free art projects, she worked from 1999 to 2001 at the media art festival transmediale. From 2001 to 2004, she worked at the exhibition department of the Centre for Art and Media, ZKM, in Karlsruhe amongst others for the exhibitions Ctrl Space (2001), Iconoclash (2002) and Future Cinema (2003). 2004 she co-curated the exhibition tainment together with the RealismusStudio, NGBK, Berlin. Since 2005, Anke Hoffman is also a member of the NGBK. 2006 with the RealismusStudio she co-curated the three day lasting Exhibitionseries Auflösung (High Definition; Rausch/en; Entgrenzung) [Decomposition (High Definition; Inebriation/Swoosh; Delimination)] in the NGBK. She publishes catalogue texts and is a jury member at video film festivals.
